Tremont is five to eight minutes away, so a same-day slot is realistic and the install still runs the usual one to two hours. Insurance is settled before the van rolls: we open the comprehensive glass claim, send the bill to your carrier, and tell you what your deductible works out to, or that a chip repair costs nothing.

From the shop, Tremont is a short run: East Tremont Avenue west to the Grand Concourse, then a mile south. That closeness is the practical advantage here, because a booking taken in the morning can usually be filled the same day and a forgotten clip is a five-minute round trip rather than a lost appointment. When you call, we take year, make, model and the address the car is at, and the van is packed for that car alone. On the insurance, the answer is short. Hand us the policy number, and the claim number if you already called it in, and we file, bill the carrier and give you the deductible in plain figures before a tool is picked up.
You get the same lifetime workmanship warranty here that an in-shop install carries, covering leaks, wind noise and trim problems for as long as the car is yours. The sequence is unchanged too: glass out, frame cleaned and primed, new panel bedded, then a wait for safe drive-away that the tech quotes before starting. Dynamic camera calibrations are often finished at the curb, and if your vehicle needs a static setup indoors you will know that at booking. Mobile pricing matches the bay inside our regular area, any travel charge is quoted before we agree the job, and the tech vacuums the car out at the end.
“This is my uncle's job I don't want people saying that he's a scammer he's only doing his job Nobody is perfect don't forget that. He is a very kind man and he treats everyone with respect and is helpful when you need it.”

Level ground is the thing worth checking here before anything else. The side streets climb steeply off the avenues, and a car parked on a pitch is harder to set glass on than one standing flat, so the tech may ask you to move a block over to a flatter cross street. Space is the second issue: parking is dense, cars sit bumper to bumper, and we need enough clearance on the door side to bring a windshield in without scraping the car behind. The Cross Bronx trench cuts straight through the neighborhood and the on-ramps back up through the afternoon, so an early appointment is calmer for everyone. Off-street parking behind a building, if you have access to any, turns the whole visit into a simple job.
Same service, same price, other Bronx neighborhoods:
A slight slope is workable. A steep pitch is not, because the car should stand reasonably level while the glass is set and while the adhesive cures, and the tech also needs safe footing on both sides. If your spot is too steep we will ask you to move to a flatter street nearby, which is usually a block or two away. The shop is close enough to be the fallback.
If the crack is long or sitting in your line of sight, leave the car where it is and let the van come to you. A spreading crack in a windshield is a structural problem, not a cosmetic one, and every mile adds to it. Call with the vehicle details and where it is parked, and we will tell you whether it can still be repaired or needs replacing.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
