Tremont is close enough that people often drive down on the strength of a phone call. Come west on East Tremont Avenue, turn south on the Concourse, and you are outside the shop in under ten minutes. Because it is that quick, we get a lot of same-morning work off these blocks: a crack noticed on the way in, a chip that grew overnight, a door window that went while the car was parked on a hill. Bring it by and within a couple of minutes we will tell you whether it is a repair or a replacement.

Living beside the Cross Bronx means living with what the Cross Bronx throws. Traffic entering and leaving the trench is constantly accelerating and braking, and the pavement at those ramps breaks up faster than anywhere else nearby, so stone gets shaken loose and lands on the cars behind. The hills add a second issue, since parking on a grade puts a body under a slight permanent twist and a windshield with an existing chip is likelier to run a crack from it. Between that and the winter routine of frost overnight and hot air in the morning, chips here rarely stay chips for long. Cars left on the street here take the ordinary contact of dense parking as well, and a tempered door window gives way at the first hard knock.
Head west on East Tremont Avenue until you reach the Grand Concourse, then turn south and stay on it for about a mile. Mount Eden Avenue is on your right and we are at number 30, between the Concourse and Jerome Avenue. That trip is usually five to eight minutes. Coming down Webster or Third works as well, but the Concourse is the smoother ride on damaged glass. If the car is not fit to move, or the window is missing altogether, we will come up to you.
